The story of Merenderia Maremmana
In Tuscany, " Merenderie " are the places dedicated to those who want to stop for a meal and taste local products. Hence the idea of "Merenderia Maremmana".
Bringing Maremma to Milano has been our mission. To rediscover the Maremma tradition, from cowherds, to cows, to pasteurization of cheese, to maturation of meat, to bring the authenticity and refinement of the products to our customers.
The whole thing was born, after the pandemic, out of the desire of our entrepreneurs to reinvent themselves and bring to the Milanese culinary scene something new, but one that would take up the tradition of the old flavors.
THE LOCATION.
Our halls
Our location is divided into two main rooms: the Moon Room, which is larger, and the Lyre Room. Their names originate from the shape of the horns of Maremma cows: moon for bulls, lyre for cows.
Every detail comes from the research of those lands. All the furniture elements take up utensils, objects, typical of Tuscany, reinterpreted to create an intimate and familiar atmosphere, not giving up the design that distinguishes our location.
Quality, from dishes to details
In our restaurant you'll find the atmosphere of yesteryear, with the open display case for meat curing and the careful selection of fine breeds and cuts from Tuscany and around the world.
All is accompanied by a careful selection of excellent Tuscan, Italian and international wines and Tuscan craft beers, along with strictly Tuscan gin-based Maremma cocktails.

Where we are
Ours is a corner of Maremma under the Madonnina, we are located in the center of Milano, just a few minutes' walk from Piazza del Duomo.
